HOOPS ACADEMY

This programme is a great starting place to learn basketball/miniball or improve those skills you have even further. We have experienced and passionate coaches to develop childrens ball handling skills, shooting technique, passing, defense, game knowledge, confidence, all while having fun with friends.

This programme is delivered for 6-8 weeks in every term.

TERM 2 2024 DETAILS 

Focus: Introduction and development of key fundamental skills (dribbling, passing, defense, shooting, footwork) with small sided games at the end of the session (1v1, 2v2 & 3X3). We will use game-like situations for participants to learn the rules of basketball and put their skill in practice. 

Dates:

Tuesdays: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th May, 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th June

Tuesday Times: 40 minute sessions;

• Mini Magic (Years 0-2) 3.30pm - 4.10pm 
• Junior Jammers (Years 3-4) 4.15pm - 4.55pm (Max Capacity) Registrations Closed, You will be placed on the Waitlist
• Senior Slammers* (Years 5-6) 5.00pm - 5.40pm 
• Senior Slammers* (Years 7-8) 5.45pm - 6.25pm
